Vote Reset!

Dear Finalists and readers of the Finalist blogs, due to a technical error in the processing of the polls, the number of votes have been resetted. There have been instances of cheating by some voters due to a security loophole in the voting system. The Blogfest Committee will continue to find a solution to this problem, but for the moment, voting has been limited to ONE vote per account.

If you have already submitted your vote, do go to LiveWire and vote again for your favourite blog. In the future, we will try to reinstate the option of one vote per day, but the technical aspects will have to be solved first. The Committee will continue to monitor the votes, and any votes cast by multiple accounts created for the sake of voting will be deleted from the final tally.

Enjoy the fine writings of our Finalists! And, look out for the publicity posters and lecture announcements going around NUS... Good luck!

So with the above announcement, it seems like the system is not really lousy, but it was an intentional move. Anyway, the file Eugene korkor sent me was this:
